Today history was made at our Monastery with two simultaneous Sunday Divine Liturgies being held at the Monastery grounds, one in the English language and the other in the Greek.

The Divine Liturgy in the Church of Saint Paisios was solely in the English language, and the Divine Liturgy in the Catholikon, the Church of Saint John the Forerunner, was solely in Greek.

The Divine Liturgy in the Church of Saint Paisios was also a Hierarchical Liturgy presided over by His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea.

God willing, this will now become a regular occurrence on Sundays. Everyone is welcome to either of these Churches at the grounds of the Monastery to attend the Divine Liturgy in the language of their choice.
