Nepsis Series Talk 19

This is the nineteenth talk in a series of talks by His Grace Bishop Emilianos of Meloa providing an explanation of the work of Elder Aimilianos of Simonopetra on 'νήψη' (nepsis), and opens a forum for questions and answers.

In this fellowship talk, His Grace expands on what Saint Hesychios has to say about humility, with some excellent thoughts and discussions on the virtue of humility.

‘Good luck with humility, but I’m telling you, if we don’t at least try, we are wasting our lives, we are wasting our lives because in this life salvation is personal, but this life is not all about me; if it was all about me, I’m telling you, you will end up all alone and may be not even saved. But if you make this life all about others and, if you make your life all about God, then you will save your soul first. Think about it, but not while you are driving.’
