This is a fellowship talk by His Grace Bishop Emilianos of Meloa, discussing 'Forgiveness'. Amongst other questions, His Grace asks the audience "How would you explain forgiveness to a 4-year old?", and he continues to say: "If the children have experienced their parents’ love, you can simply tell them: 'see how mum and dad love you and if you do something wrong (and we go to an example), see how they behave towards you; this is the right thing to do'. And then, you don’t say a lot of words, but they have something to think about because they have experienced this behaviour from the parents. And if this behaviour is loving and forgiving, then they will find it easier to just to do the same when you tell them to do something similar to immitate it. So let’s get to the scenario that there is a young son and he breaks a glass and dad is around and mum is not around, so what should dad do?". Listen to the rest of his explanation.
