Description

Brass oil lamp in gold colour with incised decoration. The oil lamp comes with a red glass cup for the oil. The Vigil Lamp is placed lit in front of the holy icons inside the Orthodox Churches, as well as in the houses of the faithful, as a sign of respect and honour to God, Virgin Mary and Saints. The lighting of the vigil lamp symbolises the light of Jesus Christ that lights every person’s life. The olive oil symbolises the endless mercy of God and the praying of Jesus Christ in the Mount of Olives.
