The first Iconography course for 2021 was successfully completed on the 19th of March. During the 8 sessions, each student was guided through the various steps of writing an icon using the ancient Byzantine Iconography technique of egg tempera and gold leaf. The students created their own paint with egg yolk and pigments, and followed a step by step process to produce some amazing work. The students thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity at the Monastery and many of the students are looking forward to the next course.
